Volunteers – Research & Ethics Review Adviser wanted

As we anticipate there will be more and more research activities undergoing in our organization, we are looking for volunteers who are keen on helping in developing policy documents and procedures for research ethics review of our research.

The volunteers need to be proficient in English writing and translation into Chinese, good literature search skills and highly organized. They are expected to perform the following responsibilities:

• Search through ethical review documents currently on web from;

• Summarize into new documents and adapt to our use in the organization;

• Type-editing and word-processing of all documents;

• Translate the documents into Chinese; and,

• Upload onto our website.

- Either work at home or our office (North Point)
- Complete 20 or more hours of volunteering with our society you can receive our certificate.
- The certificate will list the number of hours you have completed and the projects you have taken part in.

2018 HKAVT Internship & Volunteers Recruitment to Support People with Disabilities

Our Centre implemented a rehabilitation program in Cambodia in May to support people with disabilities .  We are seeking qualified and highly dedicated volunteers to join the meaningful event.  The appointees will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of projects relating to auditory verbal therapy for children and adults as well as special education teachers.  

Duties include writing reports and journals, editing videos, preparing assessment materials, writing lesson plans, etc.

The appointment will be for a period of 2-3 months commencing from Jun 2018 with the possibility of renewal subject to project funding.

Applicants should have good communication and organizational skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team. They must also have an excellent command of written English.
