Background
Blossom Minds, a division of the Learning Support Services Association, is set up as a commercial flower shop with a social objective. We offer employment for young adults with special needs and SENs for them to integrate in the mainstream work force. Blossom Minds has been set up since 2018 and has two retail shops; one at Kowloon Bay and the other at Jordan, Kowloon. More than 15 young adults have been employed in the last 4 years. Three of them have pursued full time employment in the mainstream work place; with one of them pursues as a florist.
Blossom Minds’ retail shops are managed by a shop manager and supported by certified florists. The role of the shop manager is to ensure smooth shop operation and helps develop young adults’ career growth.
